Experienced professionals such accountants, notary, physicians, private investigators, security guards, amongst others are also on board to assist you. Unfortunately, we have also been called to assist in the sad experience of handling demises and legalities which accompany same.

The Mexican legal system is at times much more complex than in the United States as well as in other countries.
Opening a corporation, granting a Power of Attorney, as well as setting up a Will, etc. is not done in the simple fashion that we are used no; in Mexico it is done in the presence of a notary and is inscribed in the notary book as well as the public registry. Although we used to doing these in a question of minutes or perhaps a few hours back home, here it can take a week or two, but we try to make it as painless and quickly as possible.

Constituir una sociedad, otorgar un poder, así como un testamento, etc., no esta hecho de manera simple como estamos acostumbrados; en México se hace en la presencia de un notario y se escribe en el libro notarial, así como en el registro público. When dealing with immigration maters, we always try to advise our clients not to believe in hearsay. Not everyhing on the inernet is valid. For example, exit and reentry permits can be obtained while your immigration applicationis in process, except when in «regularizacion» process. And after obtaining your first year temporary visa, you can automatically aply for a three-year visa when this one expires. You do not need to go from year to year. Then you go on to permanent resident status. And should you desire to do so, you can then apply for your Mexican naturalization certificate.
Also, if you are married to a Mexican national, you obtain a one-year temporary resident status, NOT TWO YEARS as so many foreigners are led to believe. Only if you have a Mexican-born child, then you obtain PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS.
Our certified translators are all native speakers and skilled in terminology related to the following field of interests, amongst others: accounting, aeronautics, automotive, culinary, legal, medical, mechanical, movie industry, photography, sports, tourism, etc. Please be adised that translations and interpretations are not done literally.
One word can change the entire meaning of a written and oral senence, as well as a court sentence. And our translators are familiar with slang and idiomsfor the Spanish-speaking countries. Here also a word or phrase that is considered normal on one country can be insulting in another.
Cuando se trata de asuntos migratorios, por ejemplo tratamos de aconsejar a nuestros clientes que no hagan caso a especulaciones. No todo lo que esta en internet es válido. Por ejemplo, uno puede tramitar permisos de salida y regreso cuando sus solicitudes están en proceso, salvo que sean «regularizaciones». Y después de obtener tu primeravisatmeporal de un año, puede automáticamente solicitar la de tres años. No es necesario ir de año por año. Despues solicitas tu residente permanente. Y si lo deseas, entonces puedes solicitar tu naturalización mexicana.
También si estás casado(a) con una mexicana(o) obtendrás una visa temporal por un año, NO DOS AÑOS COMO LES HACEN CREER A MUCHOS EXTRANJEROS. Solo si tienes un hijo o hija mexicanos, obtendrás la visa permanente de inmediato.

I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Mendiola and Associates PC legal firm in Playa del Carmen. Ms. Mendiola assisted me in a traffic accident with the insurance adjustors and physical therapy later. The officers on the scene were very responsive to her and I could tell they respect her very much. I am going to pursue my permanente residente status with her in the coming weeks as I had already consulted several «gestores» as they are called in Mexico, in the States we refer to them as «runners» or «go-fers» and ran into language barriers, non-fluent English and different price quotes and was not pleased with the results. Her rates are quite reasonable and she does deliver for what she charges. Again, I highly recommend Ms. Mendiola!

We met Teresa Mendiola on our first trip to immigration, shortly after moving to Mexico. We noticed her office right outside of the immigration office and decided to go in to talk to her.
